What makes me a great caregiver is that I am able to relate to the needs of my clients base on individuality. I am very compassionate towards my clients. I try my very best to understand their needs and find a solution to it. I became a caregiver not only to help people who are at a disadvantage but rather because I care about people and enjoy being a part of their lives. For many years I've lived away from my father, but the moment I received a phone call that he had a stroke I dropped everything and went to care for him until he recovered. That alone shows how caring and concern I am about people who are unable to care for themselves. What I like about being a caregiver is the fact that I am able to bring a smile on the faces of my clients no matter what moods they are in for that particular day. I go to an extended mile to make sure that their needs are met and that they are taken good care of and happy. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to graduate college. Both my parents are illiterate and for me to be the first out of four siblings to go to college and graduate was a very good accomplishment for me. And with what I have learned and experience I will continue to strive in what I love the most; that is helping people.

I like being a caregiver because I love to take care of people. I feel that this is my calling and Jesus is working through me to let people know that they are loved and deserve the best care. I have over 15 years of experience. God bless

I have been in the healthcare field over nine years. I am currently going to school now for my CNA... I lobes being a Caregiver. It's where my heart and passion at. I promise my mother before she past away. That this is what I wants to do with my life. And I won't stop until I become a RN. I treats my patients as my own. And never a blunt moment with them.

I Enjoy helping people a whole lot, it gives me comfort knowing that I'm putting a smile on a person face or even making them feel better. It gives me hope knowing that i can make a difference in a person life. I started off in High school being in Health professions classes' and learning different things about health and how precious every ones life are. Hello, First I'd like to share a few things about my experiences as a CNA/caregiver. I have always been a nurturing person first as a child and continuing through adulthood, It brings me great pleasure to help everyone I can. I started my career in 1993 by attending a State licensed class and being state certified to work as such. I have continued my education for 28 years now and I am told I bring great skill set to many homes and individuals. I have worked as a CNA in Hospitals, Home Health, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Nursing Homes and Private Duty Requests. I enjoy them all. I've worked with Hospice,Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, strokes, obesity, bed bound clients such a paraplegic and quadriplegic, ALS clients, PTSD clients, schizophrenia clients, post surgical and more. I offer help with ADLs, showers, bed baths, exercise, meal preparation, vital sign checks, medication reminders, doctor appointments, and more.

Ive been a caregiver for about 15yrs. I love what i do. I have worked for mentally ill adults, senior citizens as well as Alzheimer dementia clients. I have experience with spinal injuries and ms clients. I have worked with colostomy bags urinals, hoya lifts medicine etc. Im also always willing to learn. Im kind soft hearted loving caring. The qualities I posses is a set of intrinsic qualities that certain human beings possess and others do not. It is all about personality and how that personality fits with the patient and the members of their family. It’s just as simple as that.I have a natural urge to help others.
