Hello! My name is April and I would love to be your caregiver. We have been a military family for 30 years and it is time to hang it up! I first became a caregiver when I was actually 18 years old. I became a Texas EMT. I was very rewarding but we got stationed elsewhere. Then when we made it back to Fort Hood I decided to go to CNA school. Again it was very rewarding but the military moved us. Two years after we moved my grandmother became sick. Instead of going to a care facility where there is no telling how she would be treated she ended up staying at home so that her family could take care of her. Even when she would have to be hospitalized for a short period of time she would tell the nurses that I was her care giver and that she wanted me to do the tasks instead of them. I want to be your caregiver because our mature family members need great care. Not just left alone in a bed to sit.

My personality traits that help me be a great caregiver are that I'm patient, flexible and have a great attitude. What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I love helping people. The thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is being able to help someone's loved one and put a smile on their face. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is being a CNA.

I love to care for the elderly. I have 16 yrs experience and have a fond passion for caring for the elderly. I found my calling in life when I started caregiving.

I am a great caregiver because of the way I'm able to relate to people of any kind, the old, the young, disabled, and the mentally ill. There is a spirit that I possess that draws people to feel comfortable around me . I became a caregiver because I grew up around a lot of older relative and once they became sickly I was there to take care of them, and my greatest accomplishment is to volunteer in the Hospice program for Baylor Scott and White when I first came to Texas and was able to relieve the families of some to the burden of their loved ones by giving them time to take care of themselves and other family members.

Careing giving loving. What attracted me was I have always wanted to be a nurse and help people when they needed it. I enjoy being able to give them what ever I can and the feeling I get knowing that I did help them, Being a loving and careing Healthcare worker.

Ive been a caregiving over 6 years and love it! The reason why i became a caregiver was because of my grandmother. I started to take care of her personally and my family seen that and thought it would be a great career to go in this field. Do i went to Job Corps to get my certification. Traveled and work in different places to get more experience. Very patient, and very focused to make my residents happy and get the job done !

I became a Certified Nurse Aide in 2004, I cared for a lot of my family members. I enjoy care for others from children to adults. I'm also a Certified Medication Aide, I have my Pharmacy Tech Trainee License and CPR certified. I'm also currently working as a Cna.
