Hello, First I'd like to share a few things about my experiences as a CNA/caregiver. I have always been a nurturing person first as a child and continuing through adulthood, It brings me great pleasure to help everyone I can. I started my career in 1993 by attending a State licensed class and being state certified to work as such. I have continued my education for 28 years now and I am told I bring great skill set to many homes and individuals. I have worked as a CNA in Hospitals, Home Health, Physical Rehabilitation Centers, Nursing Homes and Private Duty Requests. I enjoy them all. I've worked with Hospice,Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, strokes, obesity, bed bound clients such a paraplegic and quadriplegic, ALS clients, PTSD clients, schizophrenia clients, post surgical and more. I offer help with ADLs, showers, bed baths, exercise, meal preparation, vital sign checks, medication reminders, doctor appointments, and more.

I believe the things that makes me an excellent caregiver is my empathy and history with disabilities. My father was diagnosed with Parkinson disease when I was 8 years old and diagnosed with alzeimers when I was 13-14. I spent most of my time from the age of 8 learning how to care for my father and keeping him active. The thing I most enjoy about being a caregiver is the fact that it makes a difference in someone's life. It can make somebody's day if they have company. Daily activities aren't so stressful and it can help seniors feel comfortable. Lastly, A personal achievement I'm proud of is my time in the navy with 2 deployments.

Ive been a caregiver for about 15yrs. I love what i do. I have worked for mentally ill adults, senior citizens as well as Alzheimer dementia clients. I have experience with spinal injuries and ms clients. I have worked with colostomy bags urinals, hoya lifts medicine etc. Im also always willing to learn. Im kind soft hearted loving caring. Great listener hard worker. I am very reliable and always on time. I have references and a resume if needed.

What makes me a great care giver is I love what I do and I love helping people. I have been working with the elderly for about 30yrs and there is no better job I rather be doing. When they're happy I'm happy.
