I have 23 of experience working as a caregiver. Have great customer service and still have a lot of energy to help others . I have met the most amazing and loving people working as a caregiver. I speak English and Spanish.

I think I'm a great caregiver because I genuinely care about others. I treat people the way I want myself or my family members treated. I have enjoyed a 32 year career as a Respiratory Therapist primarily with children in a hospital setting, but being a caregiver doesn't have age restrictions! I am now an active empty nester and am looking to continue caring for others outside of the hospital setting in a little more flexible way. :)

Am honest& dependable,have experience. Have worked@ two retirement homes,over 9 years experience,also have been a private caregiver. Have always loved working with elderly,grew up without grandparents, see them as my own. It's so easy to fall in love with them. Most what I enjoy being a caregiver is just being able to help residents &giving back, they are someones parents, grandparents. Really enjoy their stories &their reactions when I show to work everyday. My personal achievement am proud of being a good,honest,loving caregiver. Just being there for the elderly who are dependent on me. It's rewarding job.

I began my caregiving path as a preschool teacher. I spent 12 years caring for children and 2 of those years teaching kindergarten. After my husband passed away I focused on my children. I began an amazing opportunity in senior living care facility 5 years ago as direct care while studying to get my bachelors degree in psychology, and now work as a case manager for 3 group homes.

I make it a point to listen to my client. Talk to the family to find out what they do and don't like treat everyone like it's my relatives. I have always wanted to be a caregiver as a child I took care of my Barbie dolls and stuffed l.m..animals and my sister dolls. Any care I give my client to make there day better is a good day they have enough to worry about I just want to make it easier. My greatest achievement was a client live alone and a storm was coming I stayed with her for two days til she felt safe.

There is a wonderful feeling that I get when I see a flower in bloom. I may have started with only a seed, but I plant in the richest soil and add the warm loving embrace of sunshine and the gentle touch of rain. Although I'm not much on botany, I get this feeling when I see a beautiful person in my care bloom with radiance and enthusiasm for life once again. This is the joy that I have as I share my passion with the loved one's that you entrust me with. Care is more than jobs or chores or tasks that needs be done. It's doing what I love, to increase the quality of life in those that need it the most and keeping the energy and zest for life alive in those that don't. Hi! First off, I admire the families that choose to hire someone to help their loved ones and not take the option of putting them in a nursing home. I have never been more content or more pleased then having a job as a caregiver. You're able to bring life back into the home, become apart of the family and commit yourself whole heartedly. I prefer to wear scrubs on the job. My job duties for the last 6 years as a caregiver w/ my most recent patient/s are as follows. . Cooking, cleaning, running errands such as groc shopping, driving them, pill mgmt and doctor appointments, I'm knowledgeable in Alz/ Dementia as well. As for the ladies I do gardening, decorating, manicure and pedicures as well as hair. I'm very organized and keep everyone on schedule. I'm a hard worker. I'm cpr/ first aid licensed and am also certified nursing assistant,I will take care of their bandages or any other wounds. I will go above and beyond for you and your family as if it's my own and I'm very good at keeping them company I have learned so much from bonding w/ the elderly. I love what I do. I won't let you down. I have commendable references also! Traveling is not an issue as long as it fits my schedule and it is the hourly wage is feasible.
