I'm caring, respectful, dependable, compassionate and a great listener, It is because of my mom that I became a CMA Knowing how much help she needed and at that time I wasn't able to be there for her as much as she needed me to so I wanna be there for someone who needs the help. I'm a very empathetic person, and I'm drawn to caregiving because I love helping people. The thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is seeing a smile on a client's face when I've done something to make them feel great. One of the things that I am most proud of is being able to say that I serve my country...it's an honor.

I'm a very outgoing, energetic, athletic, fit person who is very compassionate and caring, someone who puts others before himself, a father of 5, 3 girls and 2 boys. I've been in the field over 10 years and have reliable references to support the fact. I enjoy being able to help others, with everyday tasks, getting back into the community, making home cooked meals, or just being there as someone to talk to. What I believe that makes me a good caregiver is the fact that I truly believe that whatever we do in life, it will come back to us, therefore if I treat someone with love, kindness, and respect, I will receive the same when it is my turn to receive the same care. When I first became a CNA I enjoyed the interaction I had with my patients. Then I later realized how great is the need for the elderly to receive care, and sadly not many people are interested in this type of job. So I decided to educate myself in medical related issues pertaining to the elderly care. One thing that I'm most proud is that I used my skills to personally care for my own mother, as well as my mother in law before they passed away.
