I did a month of clinical at Treemont Assisted Living facility located in Houston, Texas. My duties were feeding, bathing, dress, and assist with mobility. In terms of your job requirements, I can cook, clean, and do laundry, lift, carry and transport items up to 30lbs. I've had the opportunity to work at Texana for 2 1/2 years as a House Parent during those exact duties. Very kind and compassionate Have been caregiving for 20+ yrs CPR certified I enjoy caring for and interacting with a variety of people, but I am very partial to Seniors. Finding out their likes and dislikes and being able to take care of them in a compassionate manner, talking with them and listening to them has afforded me joy in learning about them and letting them know they still have so much value to the world. Recently I have been working privately for families, so this system is new but good. I feel comfortable and able to contribute to their health care plans while sharing information with the family .
