Growing up I've always been empathetic and vulnerable. I consider other peoples feelings before my own. Caring for others and helping those in need has been a calling of mine from a young age. Providing care for others gives me a sense of purpose. I've been involved in church on and off my entire life. I am proud of myself for partaking in my churches worship team and being able to help in the youth group as well.

I'd say what makes me a great Caregiver is the amount of time/energy I put in. I love to put a smile on someone's face, I love hearing "Ms.Alecia is that you ", and "I love Ms.Alecia". I love getting compliments from the families. What attracts me to be caregiver is the excitement and love I get from the new PT. What I enjoy most is a good story from the residents I love when they tell me about there younger days, and I just enjoy the smiles I bring . My name is Karina Martinez, I am a well experienced caregiver i've been caring for others for 5 years. I've dealt with many different patients, not all are the same so everyday I learn something new! I enjoy what I do and strive to be the best at it everyday. With everyday activities that may have been difficult or impossible for my patients to do without assistance. I was raise in a house with two grandmothers and my mom. Being the youngest I helped with all the house chores I assisted my grandmothers in their daily activities and also let them do what they were able to do by themselves. I grew a passion in helping I love to make a difference in peoples lives and enjoy helping as much as I can.
