I am a certified nurse aide. I have 36 plus years experience in home and out of home.Some nursing home experience . I have done hospice care . I have CPR certification. I enjoy taking care of people I think it's a gift given to me by God .I work with people well . I put there needs before mine . I take care of them as if they are my own and I treat them as I would want to be treated. My own down fall is I fall in love with them and I cry with them. I laugh with them and when they are gone I grieve for them. I care for them as if they are my family .

I love helping people. I've been helping people all my life. Its makes me happy to know that my clients know there are people that who really care. I am proud when I make my clients smile and feel comfortable with me. I have been doing this professionally now for two and a half years, even though I've been doing this all my life because people needed help. I am patient and understanding with my clients. Though their attitudes change sometimes, if they cooperate with me even on their bad days it will make both our day go much smoother. We all have those days sometimes. I will give them time to get theirself together then I will try it again. I am only looking for private duty and part time care giving. Some overnights and shortterm care.

I became a CNA because I enjoy helping others and find the work mentally and physically satisfying. I like getting to know the patient and learning about their life, some are quite the character! It is never dull and even with the repetition of routine there is always something different going on. I am proud of the fact I passed my state CNA exam on the first try, most do not so that was quite gratifying. I recently took my state test for medication aide and am now certified in that as well.
