I became a caregiver because I grew up around my oldest sister who is a nurse. I love to see the smile on people faces when they feel better. I like to make them feel love and comfortable. I want to be treated the way I will treat them. I'm a friendly, good sense of humor ,hard working ,trustworthy and easy to get along with others. I am available 6pm -6am week days and any time weekends.
I'm a great choice because I have been taking care of others since I was small. From assisting with the care of several relatives battling cancer. To my work with adult with various disabilities. To the care I provide daily to my now adult son with a disability. Taking care of others is my passion. I became a Caregiver because of my grandmother. She is getting older and has Dementia, so I am always by her side trying to help her remember things and doing daily activities with her. I became a CNA because my great grandmother passed away in her long-term living facility due to poor malpractice. I like being a CNA because I can assist those in need while putting a smile on their faces. I have worked in a rehabilitation and living facility center for more than a year. I have volunteered for two other facilities out side of my city as well as worked with children NB-HS ages. A personal achievement I am proud of is that I have came from a very unpleasant poor past and blossomed into a very upmost successful present life leading into my future. I am very sensitive to the needs of anyone in any capacity that needs assistance when they are unable to do for themselves, or due to an accident or medical condition, their entire lives have been changed from being independent to now relying on someone else. I am very accommadating and observe a residents needs before a sitiation occurs. I become familiar to a residents' likes,dislikes, habits, how they like things done a certain way or seen a certain way. I enjoy offering any assistsance that I can, from running errands to offering companionship to walking the family pet.

I believe my qualifications are well-suited to the requirements you mentioned in the ad: I am a care giver for around 17 years. I worked in different states around the country. A little bit more than 4 years ago I moved to VA where I started working for different families as Adult/child caregiver provider. Then I start working (live in), for a nice family in Vienna, VA for around 4 years assisting to a 95 years old sweet lady, also I worked with a McLean family as a senior caregiver. I recently had an offer to work in Shenandoah, IA, which I accepted and was a great experience in this jobs. Now I am ready to start a full time job and willing to relocate or live in if that is the case. Also if your love one need to travel to some place to visit family or just for pleasure, I am available to do so. I am a very responsible, honest, respectful person.
