Hello my name is Pam and I have been a caregiver for 13 years I also am licensed in the state of Virginia. I have been doing Home health and Hospice care for 8. I went in to caregiving after I had worked for the federal service for 28 years. I always knew my calling was to be in this field but I became a mother young and then a single mother and did not go to school until my children were much older. I love being a caregiver to the elderly because I know that they receive the best care and respect and their dignity is kept until my services are no longer needed. It is such a joy to me to see the elderly that I take care of smile everyday and laugh and enjoy life. I became a caregiver by chance, but once I helped my first patient and saw the difference I made in her life I was hooked. I go above and beyond for my patients.
