I was born with an overabundance of empathy, compassion, and a drive to provide love , care, and companionship to the elderly, special needs childen , and specialized in senior animals and ones with special needs and more supervision then most could give. Starting at the age of 10 years old and in elementary school, I volunteered to be in the reach program at Grandin Court Elementary that paired me with special needs students as their " care buddy " I proudly escorted them to their buses and made sure they were belted in securely in their seat, assited with teaching them how to tie their shoe laces , brush their hair , and escorted them to the restroom and back to class as needed. I read them books , and told them everyday how I valued them. I chose to eat my lunch with the special needs children every day and I cannot d find it. I sought enployment at Elm Park estates retirement home and I coordinated fun activities like board game day, and card games for the senior residents. After high school, I provided care to an elderly male with stage four colon can I treat all as if they were my own mother, father , child , or pet. I am proud to be the voice for those who have none, an advocate of seniors and special needs , and a protector of those more vulnerable, kids animal rescue, transported pets when they had to be placed into another home, administered medicine to both felines and K9s , gave shots of insulin to my diabetes pet pals , and even provided fluids to a very elderly little fur guy who was not drinking water. His veterinarians office showed me how to properly administer the fluid into the base of the neck. I provided a hospice type service in a nurturing and calm environment for a 21 year old miniature poodle.
