Hello, I am a very compassionate person, dependable, great listener, respectful with my clients and their values, very kind, punctual, hard worker, with a great attitude. I love and enjoy helping people, when and where they more need. Being a CNA, was the greatest decision, I have made in my life, because my dream came through; since I was little I liked to help people. I gave a lot to my clients and more than anything, a handful of help, understanding, passion, love and a great smile in my face, every time when I arrive to their homes, but not only I give them, but I also receive many things back in return. Another big smile, and thanks, for everything I do for them. There is not a better feedback that their appreciation for my hard work and commitment. I remember hearing this expression from my last client "Maxi you make my days. I am so happy when I see you in my door", The services I can provide to you and your loves one are: company and conversation, helping recovery from surgeries, fall prevention, medication reminder, light cooking and housekeeping, laundry, errands, driving to Dr. app., assisting in activities of daily living, shower or bath, walking, and many more as needed. I have many skills and more than five years of experience in this field and can provide certifications and great references. I also have fingerprint card and CPR certification. I am looking forward to hear from you soon. Thank you, Maximina

PCA Certified 2020 CPR/First Aid 2020 Why did I become a care giver? In 2003 I started working in an Assisted Living part time where I was trained in medication management and went to a training course on Alzheimer's. When I retired from the Federal Government I started working at places like Senior Corp and Visiting Angels. I decided to go private and my first case was hospice and my last case was care giving and hospice. What attracted me to care giving is my compassion, empathy, and the love of taking care of someone who needs my help. I am friendly, happy-go-lucky and full of life. I believe God led me to taking care of seniors and I have been doing this work over 10 years. What makes me a great caregiver is taking my job seriously, being on time, and doing schedules for all the caregivers, making sure the client does not run out of supplies and make sure my client is comfortable and happy at all times. A personal achievement I am proud is I was in the Newsletter at Visiting Angel where I received 10 because my client's son gave me a week off with pay around the holidays. This has never happened to any other caregiver at Visiting Angels. I am proud to go from caregiver to hospice because I want to make sure my client is comfortable and not in pain before passing.

Skills & Certifications: Vision and Eye Disorders, Stroke, Home Care Aide (HCA), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Respiratory Disorders, Post Surgery Recovery, Parkinson's Disease, Palliative Care, Hospice Care, Home Health Care, Hearing Disorders, Gastrointestinal Disorders, Diabetes, Depression, Dementia, COPD, Arthritis, Alzheimer's Disease

I have always loved taking care of people since I was a young girl and helping take care of my great grandmother. I love making people smile on a bad day. Encouraging people to get up and move even if it's to look out the door. When I graduated highschool I graduated with my CNA (certified nursing assistant) degree for CNA 1 and 2 and that was a great day for me.
