First there is God, with God you can become a caregiver, he put love in your heart for people, all people.i have 5 children plus 3 step children and 29 grandchildren all together a lot of love going on. There are a lot of people out there that need a lot of taking care of and they need someone that cares. What I like about being a caregiver is the love that you get in return, not all the time in difficult cases but you know it's there. My personal achievement is when I went to Miller-Motte to become a phlebotomist while working a full time and part time job I look back now and wonder how I made it.

I have been a CNA specializing in memory care for the past 4 years in TN. I started traveling last year throughout TN and VA. I just settled in VA as a new RN in emergency nursing. However I like to do CNA/caregiving work on the side in my spare time.

I went into nursing when I was young I started out in housekeeping when I was 16 I started working on the floor when I was 17 Bathing Changing their clothes, changing, diapers brushing the teeth feeding Exercising with them taking walks outside Just taking care of all of their daily needs working in a facility that I was at for about 20 years and I've also sit in homes for about eight years. I went into nursing because I have five kids of my own. They are grown now, but I've always said if anything would happen to them I wanted to be the one to take care of them, because I worked in facilities and I know and saying they care that some get and I said if I can help it, my children would never go have the same attitude when it comes to me if anything would happen to me I never wanna stay in a facility I wanna get taken care of in my home or either in their home . what I do I have a heart and a passion for taking care of the elderly and sick. I enjoy the conversations of their childhood and growing up. I love cooking and cleaning because if you get care in your home, your household needs to be cleaned and you need a home-cooked meal if you have a dog or a cat, I don't mind taking care of them too ...

Hi! My name is Jeannie and I'm 36yrs old. I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Registered Medication Aide (RMA) for 10yrs. I grew up with my grandparents all my life and as they grew older, health problems slowly arose and I started assisting them more and more and fell into a caregiving role at a young age. My grandmother has COPD, HTN, DM, Anxiety, Neuropathy and Arthritis. My grandfather has dementia, vertigo and stage 3 renal failure. I am Now his caretaker at home, he's on hospice. I've worked in home care and assisted living care. I'm a very compassionate, caring person whose always loved helping others and knew this was my calling. I am now also looking into furthering my education and career and signing up for nursing school.

I have a passion for helping others. I most like being able to assist my residents/patients on improving their daily activities to where they are able to assist themselves more. I have been a Cna for 27 years. I have worked in nursing facilities and in home care. I currently work as a direct support professional at a group home on Thursday through Saturday and am looking to pick up a few shifts on my days off which are Sunday through Wednesday.

Hello, I have been a caregiver since 2009. I received my CNA in 2017 and has been working as a CNA since. I enjoy being able to be there for different people providing the care that they need. I enjoy interacting with the elderly and supporting them in every way possible. What I enjoy the most is knowing I can make a difference for someone else and being able to provide the best care as possible while they're in my care.
