Hi my name is Tamirre but they call me sunshine because i brighting up days .what makes me a good caregiver is that I'm a very dependable person. I do things the right way and give my all in everything I do I'm also a very trustworthy . I had a coworker the suffers with cerebral palsy and was looking for an aid I was so excited and willing to jump right in with no hesitation, and after working for him for a year in a half I decided to go to school to get my personal care certificate in pct. Overall my greatest achievement is working for publix for twenty years providing premier service and now I'm soon to retire In November 2016. And now im looking forward to working another twenty years in caregiving

I like being someone people can rely on, especially individuals who need support in their daily lives. The DSP role stood out to me because it allows me to make a real impact -- not just physically, but emotionally and socially. Knowing that my support can help someone feel more confident or independent is what drew me to this field. What I enjoy most is building real connections with the individuals I support. I like learning their personalities, understanding their routines, and finding ways to make their day easier or more enjoyable. I also enjoy seeing progress -- even small steps. Knowing I played a part in helping someone feel comfortable, supported, or more independent makes the work rewarding. I'm proud of how I've been able to balance work, school, and family while still staying committed to my goals. It hasn't always been easy, but I kept pushing myself and stayed focused. That determination has helped me grow personally and professionally, and it's something I carry into my work as a caregiver.

Well my Grandma passed of lung Cancer in 2022 I took care of until the end I like to treat my patients like I treated her with compassion, listening , caring I know not all patients going be the same but I skills to handle different situations..I like being around different ppl taking care get just to see ppl smile it gives me JOY..
