I am a kind, caring, patient, understanding and very loving person. I became a caregiver to my mother about 20 years ago. She had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis which eventually crippled her. I supported her with very many of her daily living needs. Which I enjoyed doing ...so I decided that I would do it for a living. Being a caregiver for me is very rewarding. I enjoy helping people and seeing them achieve the independence that they are seeking. I lost my mother at the end of 2019 but being her caregiver for so many years allowed me to spend a lot of time with her. Now I enjoying caring for others.

I am very caring, attentive, empathetic and a professional at what I do. I have 14 years experience and have worked with hospice, home care and skilled nursing in my many years as a certified nursing assistant. What I love about being a caregiver are the connections I make with people and the difference I am able to make in their life. I have quite a few personal achievements that I am proud. The one I am most proud of is the hundreds of peoples lives I have touched by improving their quality of life and making their day a easier and brighter. I understand the feelings that come along with not being able to do the things one was able to do independently at one time. I am a very spiritual person and strongly believe in holistic approaches to create a balance in mind, body and soul for healing or better quality of life. We only have one life and it should be full of quality care. A little about me, I am a Licensed Practical Nurse, engaged to a wonderful man, and we have a 1 year old son. I come from a close family. My mother taught me to be loving, caring, and all around kind therefore that is what I intend to do.
