Ive been a CNA for 20 yrs, received my license in North Carolina in 2001 and in Virginia in 2009. I believe the most important thing that makes me a great CNAs is patience and understanding. The reason why I became a CNA is I find joy in the elderly. They are knowledgeable, they make you laugh,and you can learn alot from them. I get great joy in seeing the smiles on their faces because they're pleased with me.

I became a caregiver because I have a special heart of helping the elderly.I love the fact that I can be there foe someone who needs help.Am going to school for social work program and with that program I will comtinue helping the community

I enjoy the most about giving the client one on one care! Providing services to meet their needs and make them as comfortable and happy as possible! Reassuring the client that I'm here to help you and provide a fun and welcoming personality. I have 19 years of experience in the medical field and work with clients in their home, nursing home and hospital setting.

I am a one on one person to give care for the individual, so i think it is important for every individual needs that personal care. What attracted me to personal care was when i was taken care of my Grandmother and saw when Hospice came in and then was when i wanted to take care of the individual. What i enjoy most is it is a great reward knowing that i made a difference in that persons life to give them the best that i can give from my heart. My Personal acheivement i am proud of is knowing the ones i have taken care of was satisfied with the care i have provided for them in a way that i was called to do.

I'm a very cheerful person who enjoys caring for others. I became a caregiver in 2018 and thought I'm not sure if this is for me but we will see! Well 4 almost 5 years Later I love what I do no matter the person, age or problems they have Being able to help someone and be their friend at the same time make me enjoy my work much more. Being a healthcare worker is more than just a job/career to me it's my life and I enjoy every bit of it. My most recent achievement I am proud of as a caregiver was helping an elderly lady a couple of houses down from me and she had fallen outside there was no one around to help her at the time, my family and I had come home from a night out so I put my children in the house and ran over to make sure she was okay and proceeded to help her up check her scratches and bruises out and help her inside her home. It was actually the same lady who gave me a hard time at one point but that time nothing else mattered.

I am a Mother of 3 boys. I enjoy helping people big, small, young and young at heart. My resent care experience is with more aged individuals for the past 7 years. I've worked with Long term care, Hospice, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Special needs, Skilled/Therapy and last but not least Companion -in home care. I've helped with ADL's, which includes bathing, feeding, transfers, dressing, changing, etc. I've cooked, cleaned, provided an ear, a shoulder, comfort, and a smile. Most of the care I have provided was in a nursing home setting, which I enjoyed immensely and learned a great deal, but I felt it was missing something. I didn't have the time to actually hang out, chat, visit and get to know my residents/patients. I felt I couldn't truly do my job the way I believed it needed to be done.

I became a caregiver because I want to help people in need of my help. I love helping others and making people smile. I am proud to be a cna. I am opened hearted. I wear my heart on my sleeves. I want to give my love and joy to the ones who need it the most.

Because I'm a very compassionate and caring person. Being able to listen to stories about my clients and interact with them. I was able to go back to school and get my Associates degree in medical assistant. I love caring for others.
