I am Virginia Board Certified Nursing Assistant with over five years of home health and assisted living care. After raising four children I returned to school and became certified as a Home Health Aid, Nursing Assistant as well as Phlebotomy Tech. I believe that everyone has the right to quality care, and an advocate to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Raising four children has taught me that one must always use and implement active listening skills as well as expect the unexpected. The wife pre-deceased the husband whom I continue to take care of. I am furnished with 15 plus years of experience in healthcare, and worked with many different kinds of conditions, including dimentia. I love working with the elderly,and I learned a lot from them as we get to know each other. I love playing board games with them and have them teach me the ones that are new to me,making this one of the reasons I love doing what I do.
