Ive been a CNA for 20 yrs, received my license in North Carolina in 2001 and in Virginia in 2009. I believe the most important thing that makes me a great CNAs is patience and understanding. The reason why I became a CNA is I find joy in the elderly. They are knowledgeable, they make you laugh,and you can learn alot from them. I get great joy in seeing the smiles on their faces because they're pleased with me.

I have been a caregiver since I was young received my certification in 1996 and still have it in CNA (25yrs) and also have my RMA (11yrs) I have some training of PN I have a lot of gifts in the medical field

I became a caregiver because I have a special heart of helping the elderly.I love the fact that I can be there foe someone who needs help.Am going to school for social work program and with that program I will comtinue helping the community

Empathy and compassion is what makes me a great caregiver. I started off at 16 years old taking care of my grandpa. Making sure he take his medicine, bath, and read him versus out of his bible. As I got older I knew this is what I wanted to do I want to help the elderly patients that can no longer do much for themselves. It's essential that a caregiver feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion, caregivers will let the person know that they care about them and want to do what they can to help and that's what keeps me consistent. I love to keep clients smiling and talking. I received my CNA license and went to school to study for my degree in Medical Administration Assistant of Applied Science. But somehow I just went back to CNA doing what I really love for 10 years and counting. Also have my BLS license through American Heart Association

Good morning/afternoon/evening, I have enjoyed being a CNA for over 32 years. My specialties are Senior Care, and Alzheimer's/Dementia Care. I aspire to give Seniors the continued quality of life that they had in their latter years.

What make me a great caregiver is my loving and caring personality. I love bring smiles to the resident or client I'm taking care of. I'm kind and I enjoy spending time building relationships with my patients. I started working as a care giver cause I know that's what I was supposed to do in my life. I know that I care so much about others that I don't like to see anybody suffer. I know if I did my job taking care of a patient in there home, or in a facility I know I have achieved my goal.

Some things about me and why I became a care giver. I love to give a helping hand to someone who needs it. When I help others it teachs me new ways to view life. Being a caregiver isn't just being a helper its about being a friend and a good listener also being able to understand how others view life and what makes them smile and what makes them happy. I am a very compassionate, caring, loving, nurturing, care giver. I am very proud that I am a caregiver because I make a difference in someone's life And they do the same for me. Getting to know others brighten up my day and seeing them smile warms my heart. I am very passionate and loving and I will give my last to someone in need my family taught me to look at the bright side to life and make a difference in the world or in someone's heart and by being a caregiver.
