I enjoy helping and taking care of people who need it. I love listening to the wisdom of my elders! I also just love bringing happiness and some sunshine into someone's life! I have been a Medical Assistant for 28 years, for 18 of those years I worked in 2 different Urology offices, 5 working in an ENT and Allergy office. I am currently working in a Family Practice office. I have enjoyed working in each office and established a great rapport with the majority of the patients I have encountered, as well as there respect and gratitude. I also worked in Home Health for a brief period. One of my clients hired me to continue taking care of her mother, which was extremely gratifying to know she was so pleased with the care I provided and trusted me to continue taking care of her mother.

I am a very energetic caring individual. I love to help others achieve a better quality of life. I have always been the one to help anyone if I could. I started on my home healthcare journey at the age of 18, I am now 30. I started out as a certified nursing assistant before joining the navy. I joined the navy as a hospital corpsman, still in the field of caring for others. This is truly my passion. I enjoy meeting the different people and forming bonds with my clients. I have an associates in criminal justice and will finish my bachelors in psychology June 2022.

I started off being a care giver when my mother got sick. I was shown by Nurses how to care for someone that was in the last stages of their life. Later I was informed of a opening in the area of caring for those with Intellectual Disabilities in a work setting. After getting the job I remained employed with the company for 26 years. My job took me on many different rolls from Direct Personal Care Staff to being a Team Manager. I have the desire and confidence to serve others. I am a Team Player and have the ability to make decisions on my own following set guide lines to enhance the lives of others. I have had great repors with those that present Challenging Behaviors.

When I was younger I always wanted to be in the medical field because I enjoy taking care of others and brightening their day. I started out waitressing after high school and after I had my son Carson, I decided it was time to go back to school. Being a certified medical assistant is the best career choice I have ever made. Working in a pediatric and internal medicine clinic has allowed me the opportunity to learn all different types of care for people of all age groups with various health concerns.

1: The reason why I would like to become a caregiver is I love helping people and solving peoples problems. 2: I like being there when people need me or want someone to help them. 3: I have always liked learning new thing and I also got my gold award in girl scouts. 4: I have my Associate's in medical assistant in 2010 from Bryant and Stratton. I also go my personal care aide certificate in may this year.
