I became a caregiver because I realized I listened to peoples needs and wanted to help improve the quality of their lives. I’m good at taking orders and encouraging people to do their best, to bring the best in them out. What do you like about being a caregiver? I enjoy when someone is content with the quality care I provide them. I enjoy taking people’s health into my hands and being successful, by keeping them at their optimal health. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I am proud to have become a well-informed healthcare professional that knows how to care for any individual with any kind of condition due to all my experience and skills obtained from training.

I enjoy working with people and mostly enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of my older family members and would like to help others in this way. I prefer to work with older adults because they've seen and experienced the world in a way I haven't and I feel l can get along well and learn a few things from my Seniors . My goal in life is to help people as much as I can that's why I'm studying to be a nurse so I can help people be safe, seen and heard

The skills and experience I have as a caregiver makes me do my job with confidence. I like helping people in need and that made me have the interest of being a caregiver. I love to take care people specially with older adults. I worked as a CNA at Providence Mount Saint Vincent for four years with no complaints but recognition for being a good caregiver. In addition, I am US Army Reserve since in 2008 as Patient Admin Specialist; As a drilling member, one of my duty is to attend my drill weekend every month and do the right thing wherever I go and whatever I do. Later, I transferred to Individual Ready Reserve in April 2015 to focus on my nursing school. My dream becoming a registered nurse (RN) was full filled in March 2016. I am a Navy Veteran. I received the Purple Heart for my efforts in Afghanistan. I've also received multiple Navy medals and achievements while serving in Iraq, Kuwait and here in the states. I have learned to be patient, compassionate, thorough, very dependable, trustworthy, honest and attentive. I am a wife and a mother of two beautiful daughters. Zoey is twelve and Makenna is ten. My husband is still in the Navy. He is a Submarine IDC (Independent Duty Corpsman) and he makes me proud everyday. I love my family and me working as a caregiver makes them proud as much as it makes me proud. I love being able to say I help people for a living.
