Hello! My name is Mailee (My-lee). I am currently a nursing student at EvCC. I am a compassionate person in helping others. I enjoy helping others as it is rewarding and knowing that I can make a difference in their lives when my clients receive the care they needed. A personal achievement that I am proud of currently is being able to take care for others wherever my career takes me. With my additional skills and knowledge from school, I am able to better understand the needs of my clients and give them the best quality of care.

The things that makes me a great caregiver are that I am always on time for work, patience, quality of work dependability, good reporting, communication, good listener. I become a caregiver because I enjoy working with people. I like taking care of disabilities and help them with their daily needs. I like being a caregiver cause I like to give support and understanding people on the way of their life they choose. Give them comfort they need and to create a conducive environment for them. The personal achievement am proud of is when o have completed my goals.

Certified nurse assistant with combined experience working in long term assisted care, skilled nursing and rehab care, including hospice, and clinical patient care. I began my healthcare journey by working in assisted living and memory care settings where i progressed in the field and recieved certifications such as nursing and medication administration. I am very dynamic in where I continue to elevate my career by continuously pursuing certifications, and education. What I enjoy most about my career is being able to advocate for patients and clients that have transitioned into assisted and clinical care, educating families and people of all backgrounds about the changes that come with aging. I have also served as a leader and trainer in my field, I am passionate about teaching caregivers the skills needed to provide our seniors with high quality, person centered care.

I have 30 yrs experience, I am very blessed to be able to help others. It brings me much joy. I took care of my mom,and continued helping people, I enjoy making a difference in someone's life. If I can help put a smile one someone's face, I have made a difference.

My career in health care started approximately six years ago as a nurse assistant registered (NAR). I have worked as a caregiver in various health care settings such as Adult Family Homes (AFH) and Assisting Living Facilities (ALF). While working in AFH as a caregiver, I became skilled in bedside care and daily living tasks, as well as monitoring and administering medications per Doctor's orders. However, my favorite part of the job as a caretaker was the shared moments when I was able to provide emotional support to patients and their families. In Home Care patients are generally either elderly or terminally ill patients on Hospice Care. Dying can be long and bewildering, lonely and painful, frequently undignified, and consumed by pressing and unpredictable needs. Thus, my job as a caretaker is to ease that pain and to care not only for the patient but for the family as well. I need to holistically assess and address all psychological and spiritual needs while caring for the physical ones. I must recognize anxiety, depression and help nurturing the grief process, while building resilience, empathy, and optimism. Working as a caregiver for the elderly means a lot to me. It takes a very dedicated and compassionate human being to be allowed into a person's life and a family's life when they are at their rawest and most vulnerable. I believe in my work and I have the recommendations I need to prove that I am a wonderful human being and a compassionate caregiver.

I have over 15 years of experience providing reliable and compassionate care in both an Adult Family Home and in private home settings. I am committed to providing quality care while focusing on a person's emotional well being, understanding the importance of listening to, talking to and providing emotional support to clients.

I am a great caregiver because I care so passionately about others. I feel like this is the work for God's children and I am doing everything I can to give back. I've always worked as a caregiver and even though at times it may seem challenging, I love what I do. I wouldn't change the path for caregiving that I've chosen because I have grown so much since I've started. I am proud to have six years experience working with elderly and disabled people without having any problems with them or their families.

Exceptional communication skills and able to use patience language I am a patient and caring person who is a reliable caregiver. I am an extremely diligent, responsible, and reliable person with over 14 years of caregiving experience like ; different stages of alzheimer's, muscular dystrophy, ventilator, feeding tube, driving , shopping and more. I have CNA, First aid and CPR and training in dementia communication strategies ,Anxiety Reduction,Social Interaction,cognitive Support, psycho-emotional care, warm companionship reading, games & Activities ,Independent Living facilitation physical care, bathing & personal hygiene, dressing assistance,meal & feeding support, wheelchair transfer, I have extensive knowledge in providing long and short term care performing many duties, I assist my clients with daily living activities such as getting out of bed, toileting, showering getting dressed and other duties as needed. I am able to physically handle the work load and I also have a caring bedside manner with good interpersonal skills. My organizational and cooking skills allow me to provide nutritious food and complete all tasks in a timely manner and to be able to devote time to helping with other household duties such as cleaning laundry and dishes. I have specific experience in working as a Caregiver for clients with physical disabilities. I have come to know those whom I provide care for as family. I am an individual with an open mind and heart and a believer in the notion that children have something to teach everyone. My patience in caring for them is unmatched, and shows in the interactions I have with them every day. I am looking for a full time position anytime from 6:30am - 6:30pm.
