I am a compassionate, caring, well-organized individual with over ten years of caregiving experience who strongly believes individuals should be able to stay in their own home as long as possible. I am well rounded and have provided the following skills in the client's care, bathing and dressing, medication management, assistance in daily physical therapy, housekeeping, cooking companionship, respite care.

The things that makes me a great caregiver are that I am always on time for work, patience, quality of work dependability, good reporting, communication, good listener. I become a caregiver because I enjoy working with people. I like taking care of disabilities and help them with their daily needs. I like being a caregiver cause I like to give support and understanding people on the way of their life they choose. Give them comfort they need and to create a conducive environment for them. The personal achievement am proud of is when o have completed my goals.

I am very considerate and polite. Sensitive and respectful to clients needs. I decided to become a caregiver after taking care of my mother for so many years. Caring for our seniors is perhaps the greatest responsibility we have, those who walked before us have given so much and made possible the life we all enjoy. I love care-giving to those that would otherwise not be able to do so, the the smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel that I have done my job right. It is important to laugh. I always treat my clients as if they were my family and I care, love and protect them. I have been a home caregiver for eight years, I took great care of my grandmother and mother as well. I started a family of my own within this time frame. I am a certified nursing assistant. I have a lot of in home care-giving experience. I love to exercise, hike, bike-riding, cooking and eating healthy. I'm very open minded, love talking with and interacting with my clients, companionship is a great deal to me, I have achieved many goals in my life and learned not set too many at once it prevents the discouraging nature and set backs, one of my favorite goals of completion and success is becoming a health and wellness fitness coach. I live a healthy lifestyle, I love to make a positive difference in people lives.

I became a caregiver to help my brother in law who had a couple strokes and I enjoy helping people. I am a mother of five children and a grandmother to one and taking care of them has been my greatest joy. I really enjoy spending time talking with older people, since they have such interesting life stories. I always treat my clients like I would want to be treated.

I'm always smiling and cracking jokes. I come to my job put together, and open my arms to any kind of challenge. With some residents, we dance to the bathroom. With others, we have a light switch that is broken that I need them to come help me with. Stories and communication are my best friend. I love working with dementia patients, but I am also very wonderful with more independent elderly as well. I am physically strong, and can lift over 50lbs. I can cook high protein health conscious meals and I will ALWAYS push hydration. I can handle some combative behavior, please be honest with me. I firmly believe that I take care of my clients just as I would myself such as including proper body hygiene care and oral care. I am able to help with feeding. I am CPR/First Aid trained and certified. I am fire safety certified. I am mental health, and dementia certified. I have an operating legally owned and insured vehicle. I would prefer to stay local, but would be willing to negotiate pay if services are needed from a further distance. When I first became a caregiver I never thought I would ever become one. I learned so much, so quickly, and so eagerly. By the time I was crosstrained with assisted independent elderly, and dementia/mental health and behavior challenged elderly, it began to feel effortless and empowering. I am so passionate for, and about the people I care for. Dementia isn't always patient, and dementia isn't always kind. It's challenging work but I will show up on time, and your loved one is my number one priority with a smile. I consider myself a guest in every clients home, therefore I reciprocate that belief into the quality of care and my positive behavior. I am a great listener, and I will validate your loved one in whatever they believe as long as it doesn't involve harming themselves, or others.

I always wanted a job where I was going to be able to help others. There's nothing I enjoy the most than to make a difference in others life. I still have both of my parents, and everything I do is to help them. The day they need the assistance of a caregiver or someone to help them with their needs; who better than me to take care of them. That's why I always tread my clients how I would like others to tread my parents. I'm proud of who I'm and of everything I have done by my self.

I'm very attentive to clients wants and needs. My goal is to assist residents with best quality of life that's achievable. I feel like I can make a difference in someones life even if its just a smile or a laugh. I help set a routine that works best for the resident. I genuinely care for my clients like family, and truly enjoy helping people. I enjoy the stories and time I spend with clients, and feel like caring is my calling.
