I love being a caregiver because l love being in a helping profession. I cared for my grandmother and it was a joy to have been able to care for her. I'm a CNA who has been caring for seniors over the past 14 years in conjunction with other caregivers in their private homes. I assisted with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, maintaining adequate groceries in the house through the family. I engaged in daily activities, including organizing mail, managing appointments, and exercising. I provided daily transferring of the patient from bed to wheelchair, to recliner and walking around the house and assisted with exercise programs.
