As a Certified Nursing Assistant with ten plus years of experience, I enjoy getting to know people and contributing to their lives in a positive way. What makes me a great caregiver is that I am compassionate and empathize with my clients. First I have been doing this for eight years as I said before I have worked in the Adult family home wish you know you have to do everything breakfast lunch and dinner shower grooming dress and also assistant living and also hospice center. I know for sure what I wanted to do in life taking care of babies are adults no I'm working at a space Center wish I love my job so much. Working at adult family home you have to be patient and re-approach be gentle and kind also the assistant living it's the same thing you just got a re-approach them be gentle be patient as I always say is the little things that counts and matters I'm not perfect everyone to make mistakes but I try my best to learn from them and you're never too old to learn more I remember I was at work one One of my patient was laying down and they have a visitor and I was trying to feed him something he turned to me and said I appreciate this so much because he was not taking anything before and look he is taking a few bites that made me feel so good so I feel like I'm doing something.

Born and raised in Johannesburg South Africa. Graduated my BS Biology (premed) in 2021 from Southern Utah University. I have been caregiving for about 3 years. Caregiving has been a rewarding experience because I get to know clients while making a positive impact in their lives . Fun Fact: outside of my academic life, I run a non profit organisation in 2 countries that deals with healthcare accessibility for women and children in rural areas. I have great passion working with seniors and people who need help as well. Have developed and it has been my interest to not only work with elders and others but also to fellowship with them as well. I found it interesting and lovely especially when they tell those old stories and their words of wisdom great asset.

My name is Veronica,I have been a care gave for over fifteen years,I came from Kenya and in Kenya I was an Agricultural officer, working in a Research Station, doing research on new varieties of new seeds.Besides being an officer in a Research Station,I used to visit seniors in their homes,I loved to cook for them ,wash clothes give them company and also give them my own food,which made me very happy and I felt sense of fulfliment ,when I put a smile on their face.So when I came to this country,I found that there are seniors as well,I felt this was my define calling.and I went for it,I enjoy alot when I make a difference in someone's life,I.like to work and help those who cannot be able to help themselves any more,I do this work in great love and compassion and a touch of faith.

I love what I do as a caregiver, I love helping out or making vulnerable people feel cared for, loved and comfortable by all means because they deserve quality life. I love adding value to people's lives. Being a caregiver I am able to interact directly with my clients and this way I get to know them better and in this way I am able to deliver quality care. I once helped my grandpa at his old age even without any skills of caregiving by then. I ensured he had a quality life by attending to his needs and being his companion and this made him happy

I'm Anita 27 years, South African, when I was there I worked as a caregiver for seniors from the ages of 48to 89 in large groups of 4 to 7 for a year where I assist residents with dementia and Alzheimer's diseases with daily living needs and I also worked as a private caregiver. I am a compassionate person and enjoy providing care to people of different ages. It gives me great satisfaction to think I am of help to someone and making a difference in daily living of the clients. I'm a very active and responsible person, deeply committed to treating elderly with dignity and respect.I like music, reading and being outside taking a walk. I'm a student and looking forward to pursue my goal to continue my studies during fall. I'm very aware of Covid, I wear a mask every time I go out to the essentials, social distancing and I barely go out.

I pay close attention to detail, as everyone is different. I took care of my blind sister in law and my aging mother in law and developed the desire to help people who used to do things for themselves but can no longer do it. It gives me satisfaction to see them live fulfilled lives despite needing help.

I am very friendly, hard-Worker and always on time. I like to be a caregiver because I love people. When people happy after I help them that makes me so happy. I've been working as a caregiver for a long time and at the end of my shift go home with happiness.
