I am a Navy Veteran. I received the Purple Heart for my efforts in Afghanistan. I've also received multiple Navy medals and achievements while serving in Iraq, Kuwait, humanitarian missions, and here in the states. I have learned to be patient, compassionate, thorough, very dependable, trustworthy, honest and attentive. I am a wife for twenty years to a Navy Doc on a submarine, and a mother of two beautifully amazing daughters. My husband has served in the Navy for more than 20 years! No due to the fact my grandmother rest her soul she was a nurse herself and old two adult family homes in the 1990s. she has been the pure role model for me showing how to take care of a person with compassion, empathy, and upholding certain care standards. I have worked in memory care, so I know the challenges of dealing with somebody that has dementia or Alzheimer's. I also have a strong mental health background. So I know de-escalation tactics are techniques, I currently am in nursing school learning how to care even more for people.
