Hi I want to take a little bit about me I'm am 41 year old a mother with one daughter she is 20 I'm a certified CNA also CBRF train been working in this field for 14years Nursing Homes, Supported living, Assisted living, personal care I work went all type of people young and the Elder also with disability and behavior problems I got in this feel because I like helping people we all get older things happen to people we don't know why treat people the way you want to be treated with love kindness understand as a mother I understand how to be a parent allso as a sister and auntie love you have for your loved ones is so endearing also so important have a person would help take care of your loved ones who understand so if I'm saying I'm a good candidate yes have some years experience Ben in different situation. I have 5 years experience working with the senior citizens population. I first took interest in memory care. It's so many things to learn about dementia and we are all still discovering new things. I've always had a passion to help/care for others from a very young age. I'm currently C.B.R.F certified. I have My First Aid/Fire Saftey, Standard Procedure & Precautions, Medication Administration, CPR/AED, & I'm a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. I became a caregiver as a young child. Helping my cousin, Brian, who had Downs Syndrome, overcome fears and succeed made me deeply happy. I worked my way through college as a live-in caregiver, and relived the joy I had as a young girl helping Brian love life. If I had to give one reason that sets me apart as a caregiver, it is this -- love making others feel safe, content, happy, and challenged. By that, I mean motivated to overcome problems and feel hopeful once again. Overall, I have been caregiving for 15+ years (except for the 20 years I taught school), and I give God the credit for placing the love and compassion in my heart for those who are suffering.
