I have a positive impact on my client I smile a lot I'm open to communicate with my client, listened to there concern encouraged them making decisions if the can and to involve them in there care plan.i give ADL care, good hygiene,,cooked, do laundry, serve there meal but if client needs assistance with feeding I will do it. I do client shopping, take client out for recreation, make drs' appointment and take them to there appointment, medications remainder,or administered medications, reports any concerns to family member who is POA.It rewarding when you see your client condition is improving.Care giver job is rewording when you bond with your client and the built trust in you.

I was raised by my grandparents and helped with their care as they got older. I helped to care for my grandmother who had dementia as a companion and later with palliative care. I was present and provided support and comfort to her thru her end-of-life and assisted with her postmortem care. I have since worked in home care, assisted living and nursing home settings providing care to those who primarily had dementia, providing palliative, hospice and postmortem care. I have had great success with calming clients who are combative or aggressive to preform necessary ADLs. I also have experience with diabetic care, Cather care and those who are on dialysis including ports. I also have experience as a Med Tech. I am a very patient and compassionate person who loves to see someone enjoy a safe and comfortable life.
