I am a very loving and caring person. I currently help take care of my parents so I understand the struggles a person may have if they don't have help. I enjoy seeing them smile and spending time learning what makes a person who they are. It's the simplest things that makes people happy. It could be as simple as a trip to the store and buying treats. I have achieved my goal of becoming a certified nursing assistant but it's on the way

I have good personality traits when it comes to taking care of the elderly. I can be very patient and concerned. The one thing that attracted me to being a caregiver are when I had to be my mom's caregiver for a year at my place. I bathed her every morning, shampooed her hair, clipped her toenails, file them, dressed her, shaved her chin wild hairs. I prepared dinner, breakfast, she fed herself, she even take her medicine each day. Prepare her medicine tray for 30 days, take a prescription to the pharmacy for refills each month, grocery shop, run errands, take her to the doctor as needed, read her mail, make calls as needed.

I love and became interested and fell in love being a caregiver because I love helping people. I've once been in the position of having someone care for me, so I understand the importance of being a good caregiver. It has also made me a great caregiver because I saw how the one caring for me provided me with patience, understanding, empathy, and most of all love and that's exactly what I provide my residents with and more. I mostly enjoy just seeing my residents smile and feel loved and cared for.

I also have experience with a various amount of medical equipment. I'm in school to be a medical assisting then on to my bachelors of rn.
