Being a caregiver is more than going to sit with a resident to me I wanna make sure my residents are happy , comfortable and feel safe with me in their home . I wanna do what's asked of me and make sure my resident are well taken care of and I meet there needs every day . I'm currently in college to become a CNA and so with working with residents will make things a little bit more challenging for me to make sure I'm doing my best and giving a full 100% at all times . I enjoy being a caregiver because I get to make people happy and I get to know the person. I'm proud of myself because going in as a CNA I've been asked why are doing and my answer is always the same I wanna help people who can't do things for themselves.

It was a very fast paced and rewarding job that I loved, but needed a more flexible work schedule to spend more time with my family and experience new opportunities and meet new people. I worked on the dementia and alteimers unit as well as the Covid unit so I am aware and practiced with all the extra safety precautions.
