I have been a caregiver my whole life It started with observing my Mother. I don't reserve my caregiving to just people, it just requires care. I like to bring Joy to those who have lost so much, and they are usually the nicest people. In several cases I have been one of the last people to help them feel "normal" . My ideal job would be for someone who wants to "get better". I have great energy for thatAt the end of the day you feel good by helping to stretch out normal It can get stressful, but i enjoy what I do.. I have been at the feet of people who are passing, and the feet of someone who died and returned. I can help with physical therapy, am a good cook, and know our hospitals. I can do far more than clean.

Caring for elderly is my passion I have done home care and rehab centers in my past for family and friends for about 10 years. I love working with elderly it makes me feel like I'm not at work and I'm able to have more of a connection with my clients then at a care facility . I cherish all of my clients like if they were my own family members

A personal achievement for me was when one of the toughest person I am taking care of stated that I just made him feel important and apologizes for being mean and asked me to take care of him from that day on. And when I simply cover them with blanket while sleeping and says to you " Your such a sweet person and thank you for taking care of me every night ". And that feeling of warmth fulfilment when I simply put a smile and genuine laugh when they see me. Those are huge accomplishments for me because at the end of the day, I go to sleep smiling knowing that - I just made someone's day. It made me feel driven to do more the next day and repeat. I am hardworking, caring, compassionate, patient, understanding, dependable, reliable and flexible and a sucker for life stories. I had worked at Assisted Living and Memory Care Community for more than 7 yrs & as a Personal Care Assistant and Medication Technician. I had been an independent Caregiver for more than 10 years & counting. I am my own boss :) and I have several individuals that I care for. I assisted individuals on their daily living routine i.e. Dressing, grooming, bathing, escorting, preparing their meals, assisting on their medication management. Assistance on incontinence care example changing their depends, emptying urinal and catheter. Light housekeeping and companionship. Post-op Surgery Care. My services could simply be as follows: picking lunch/dinner, assistance on taking medications including insulin or checking sugar levels, making meals, running errands, giving rides to medical appointments, hair appointment And/or shopping & walking/exercise. I have 11+ years of hospitality experience with hotels and restaurants, but after years of feeling unfulfilled, I returned to school and began to transition into healthcare in 2019. I have a certification of completion for CNA school as well as previous CPR certification. I have been a child caregiver for 8+ years and working with elderly with disabilities for the past 2+ years. I've taken care of my grand father and grand mother when they weren't able to care for themselves. My grandmother had dementia and my grandfather had a stroke , I'm a great listener , I like taken care of people. I've always wanted to become a nurse since I was 9 years old .
