Growing up, I was best friends with someone who has Autism. I was the only person she wanted to see when she was having a bad day. Her love for me sparked my interest in the Caregiving field. I am still in contact with her and her family to this day. I have worked in a day program for adults with IDD for a little over 2 years. This past year I worked in a residential facility for adults with IDD. Both opportunities were extremely rewarding and allowed me to gain more experience in this field. I am still new to the home caregiving world but I am eager to become more experienced! I am a very dedicated and caring individual. I can't wait to start lending a helping hand!

I became a caregiver in 2001 and have been doing it for over 18 years.. I like getting to know people and caring for them.. I want to treat them like they were my family member.im glad to give my time and do something I love to do.. I like to go out my way to make my resident happy..I'm very caring and I love to help out other people .. It's hard to talk about ourselves but I'll give it a try, I was introduced to caregiving by a family member since that day I went and got my self in school to get my cna certification later on I also received my dsp certification. This career is very rewarding for me, helping people and providing support to the people that needed the most is what I enjoy doing the most. I personally like watching movies, going on walks, and cooking.

I am caring compassionate loving and I would like to be treated well as I get older and that's how I treat my recipients, when I was younger a gentleman needed someone he can trust to care for him so I took the job and fell in love with it, I enjoy putting smiles on all their faces because at the end of the day it's quality of life and seniors need to be appreciated and celebrated being there to make a difference in the lives of people you care for

I've been taking care of people since I was a young girl. My Grandmother and Mother were care providers and on the weekends I would go help cook, give baths, and wash hair, even took some of the residents on walks. And I loved it. This is my calling in life. I would love and care for your love one's as my own.

I take pride in being a Great caregiver, and I care for the clients as if they were family. I wanted to become a caregiver ever since I cared for my grandmother and mother while they were Ill and being able to help them feel comfortable. I initially became a caregiver so I could help patients be happy in a facility that they might not be comfortable in . I love helping others as well as making sure they are fed , cleaned , bathed & also making sure they are safe . Making residents feel at home as much as possible. Helping residents get dressed in the mornings , make there beds and clean there room if needed for the day . Making sure they have everything they need and checking on them throughout the day .

As a dedicated caregiver to the elderly residents of assisted-living homes in memory care facilities I'm excellent at for this position. I have been working as a carrier for the last 25 years my experience ranges from my errands running and doctor appointment Shuttling to complete incontinence care and everything else in between such as Alzheimer's and dementia I am deeply committed to treating my clients with dignity and respect my number one goal is to earn your trust and alleviate any embarrassment Or anxiety they may feel when heating assistance with personal care. I provide pleasant companionship's shared with clients hobbies and needs. I maintain a clients needs and none of their needs of their home. I am familiar with first aid procedures and I take an annual CPR refresher course. Positions like these can be very challenging at times I grow very close with my residence in when one person I can be very difficult however I truly enjoy working with elderly residents. No I strive to make a difference in the lives of my residence the ongoing lessons I have learned from them and then return made a lasting impact on my life. I feel I am a great caregiver because, I absolutely love making people happy, well, and alive. I am a very honest, trustworthy person, and I except nothing less from others. I have had my CNA license for 6 years, and I did home health for 10 years, with a few extra training courses including, Dementia & Alzheimer's training, wound care, medicine and 1 year internship for Mortuary School. I am a quick learner and follow instructions given. I keep a daily log of all events, meds given, and give full daily reports when requested. I am aware of all HIPPA laws and abide by them. I am reachable at all times on or off the work schedule provided. I am willing to work extra hours/shifts in all situations.
