I have been in the medical field for over 20 years, and taking care of people is my compassion. I enjoy helping people/elderly people that are not able to do it themselves, people who need help with daily needs.

I like the idea of being able to help someone so they're able to stay in their own home. I have a great time with my clients, and I make sure they are comfortable, and in a happy mood and all their needs are addressed. It gives me satisfaction knowing at the end of my day I have helped a fellow human being to make their days better, and that's a great feeling.

I've been a caregiver all my life. I grew up with my grandmother since I was a little girl. I have learned to be patient and understanding when caring for my clients. Hi! My name is Julie and I have been in the caregiving field for over 15 years now. I have a B.A in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz. I pride myself in being a kind, caring, empathetic, conscientious individual. I went to school and pursued a degree in Psychology because I wanted to work in a field of service. Hence, I have spent the last 20 years assisting others in pursuing the best quality of life that is possible for them.

I am compassionate and empathetic. I genuinely care for my fellow man. I am a good listener who pays attention to detail and I'm self-sufficient. I've completed training in the following courses through The Public Authority of Santa Clara County, Last phase of life, mental health, nutrition, personal care, pre-paramedical, Alzheimer's & Dementia Basics, first aid, diabetes, and CPR, to name a few. Being the oldest, and only girl of 4, I Inherited the role of caregiver at a very young age. I started as a babysitter and later in life gravitated towards adult care. I have remained a caregiver because I enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and hearing their lives experiences and the knowledge, and wisdom they often share. For me, there's no greater satisfaction than going home at the end of my workday knowing that my presence made a difference in someone else's day and that I am appreciated.

I became a Caregiver for my Mother when she was ill. It was about ten years I cared for her. I like assisting people that are in need of having a better quality of living and be most comfortable. I get great satisfaction when I can care for someone that deserves better quality of living and care. I decided to get my Nurses Assist and Home Health Aide certification to do my job better. In the past I worked as a Pharmacy Technician and took Healthcare courses to better myself. I enjoy helping other people and learning of whatever it is.

I have a full knowledge of the needs of patients in all stages of illness. I treated my patients with ki ndness, respect & dignity as my own family. I become a caregiver because I have an experienced in the marines as a paramedic. I am happy to serve/help elderly people as my own parents. My personal achievement I am proud of when my one patient/client doctors told that she will only live for one month but with my care she lives up to six months to be with her family.
