I've been a care giver for about 10 years now ever since I moved here to help my grandmother after her bypass heart surgery. Taking care of her definitely sparked something in me and I knew that I was meant for the medical field. Since then I've worked with about 100 families from private care to agencies &I also nursing home settings . I have taken care of many people with conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer's, cancer , stroke, arthritis. Etc. I have also done companion services & light housekeeping &a cooking . I am comfortable with pets and clients who smoke, though Not a smoker myself. I am available to work around my perdiem schedule at Marian hospital in Santa Maria &I I am available most nights .

I am a warm, caring person. I've pretty much been caregiving my whole life since I am the oldest of 7 girls. It is something I enjoy doing because I especially appreciate aiding those who need assistance when they aren't able to do what they used to for themselves. I feel it is important to make sure this aid is done in a way that gives them their dignity in a very challenging situation for them.

I am 24 years old . I have a passion for working with elderly. What I enjoy the most about working as a caregiver is seeing my clients smile and happy and feeling safe in my care . What attracts me to being a caregiver is if it were my parents I would want my parents treated the way I care for my clients . Everyone deserves the best care and not to be neglected.
