I decided to make a career change from corporate America to doing something meaningful and helpful. Caregiver is what I've basically done my whole life. I also enjoy showing the elderly how to do things on the phone. Everything I do is for God's glory. I also enjoy cooking healthy meals and using food , herbs and spices as medicine.

Hello! My name is Keesha and I have been a caregiver, for a little over 2 years. I have traveled the world, worked some of the best jobs, eaten amazing food, been to some spectacular shows, museums and events, but caregiving has been the most rewarding experience thus far. As a 31 year young woman, there is always significant age difference between my clients and I, and I think that's what makes our relationships so special. Each client is like a new book. I learn so much of their lives, who they were, their spouse, kids parents, etc. and they get to learn so much from me! Being a caregiver is more than just completing daily chores, it's about connected with the individual. It's understanding that they're in a new/last phase of their lives, and this phase should be treated with attentiveness, love, patience and respect. I love what I do and I think it's special. Hello I started out watching my mother with a patient she worked with. I remember the smile he would have when she was to come around and how he felt safe with her and comfortable and watched my mom help him and was always making sure he was in good hands and happy.I was 16 at the time. So when i finished high school I wanted to do what she did. I started my First Job at Brookdale in a memory care unit as a resident care tech for 3 years and I loved it,but I couldn't get a job easy because I didn't have my CNA licences so I challenged the CNA test and passed it .After That I started working at Beach House in assisted living and in memory care as a CNA . I just love helping others. Also making them feel loved and just having someone to talk to making them happy and safe. Currently Im doing private CNA work at the patient Home.

After taking care of mum and dad after a bad road accident I realised how good and strong I am. I love the rewarding effect after giving so much love and passion to a sick or elderly person and the smile they offer you is I believe a sign of appreciation . I nursed my parents back to health for 8 yrs. Am very patient, caring,loving and a good listener. Love my work. Continued the same care for different great families in the USA for over 15 yrs. Growing up, I've always had a passion for helping others, especially the elderly and kids, I grew up taking of my grandparents, I really love doing so and I was greatfull to spend the times I did with them while they were still here. It is very fulfilling for me to see that I am able to make a difference and make someone's days more agreeable and enjoyable, I wanted to continue doing that so after I graduated from high school, I got my certificate in the home health care field to continue to help caring for others in need.
