Hello, my name is Takia Hill, and I proudly provide (medical) services to those in need of care by offering a complete range of personal support and companionship services. I provide patients with one-on-one care in the privacy and comfort of their house or senior living community. I assist with day-to-day activities, including bathing, grooming, bathroom assistance, assistance with walks, gym time, and physical therapy. I also provide hands-on service with transportation and meal preparation according to patients' plans and needs. I make it a point always to allow and encourage residents to do as much on their own as possible while having the reassurance of my close supervision and encouraging words. I Provide direct and indirect patient care, Transport patients, via wheelchair or accompany ambulatory patients, and transfer and offer assistance during moving of patients into and out of wheelchairs, toilets, beds, and other equipment. I have experience with assisting patients requiring help with feeding, toileting, and all other ADL care. I am A loving, caring, and hardworking Home Health Aide with years of experience supporting and nursing elderly patients. My main focus is to connect with patients and their families personally, to gain their trust so I can make them feel safe and comfortable. What attracted me to become a caregiver is that I was looking after my grandma and I was the only one around and helping, while other family was out living life when there own mom needed them the most. So after she passed i looked into being a caregiver and have been doing my job every since. Hi there, my name is Shawn I am a 38 year old divorced mother of two. I have a passion for helping others and enjoy spending quality time with the elderly. I moved to Florida roughly 6 years ago and was given an opportunity to visit a local nursing home during my visit I was rather shocked to say the least. I understand the employees don't always allow for much one on one time but the amount of elderly I frequently witnessed not receiving any companionship broke my heart. I made it a commitment to spend 2 hours 3 days a week at this facility to interact with anyone that wanted the interaction. We would play games, cut coupons to help keep their hands moving, go for small group walks in the fenced area and have actual conversations. I am looking to build an actual friendship with each client if they want to go to a nice lunch I am willing to take them, a walk in the park, to the mall , just out for a drive I am willing to do it just to know they are enjoying their day means I have done good for someone outside of my home.
