I graduated college in 2013. I have been in healthcare for over 20 years what got me started in 1992 when my son was born with a disability. I knew a little while after he was born that i had a love for caring for people. After being a home health aid for a year i knew i wanted to expand my horizon's so i did. I love helping people, I understand how difficult it is to ask for help so being able to show someone it's ok to need help is something I pride myself in doing. I helped my great grandmother for 2 years as a caregiver and I'm proud to say I made a difference in her life and the quality of our family life.

I've been a caregiver for over 20yrs and it started with my Mom as a CNA when I was a child and she got me into a Red Cross program that allowed me to help with the Elderly in the nursing home she worked in. I began to work as a caregiver at age 19yrs old until now age 41yrs old.
