My jobs have consisted of bathing (personal care), meal preparation, transferring client With gait belt, trach care, hospice care, shopping, administering medications, companionship, exercise, cancer care and etc. I am highly experienced in working with people that struggle with Dementia/ Alzheimer's. I am a mother of 2 grown children , grandmother of 2 little boys, and 1 little girl, have been married for 30 years , I have taken care of people with disabilities for over 20 years . Compassion centered care has been my career focus for the past 10 years and it is an honor each time I am given the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life; I take great pride in the ability to enrich and promote independence and comfort with each person I serve. I have had wonderful experiences that helped me to gain training in a variety of settings ranging from group homes for children with disabilities to nursing facility care for our elderly community. I an a single mother of 2 girls and 3 furr babies. I began Healthcare at age 18 because my grandmother fell ill and needed 24 hour care. It ended up being a huge blessing because I found My true calling in life. I went to college for something completely different but I just wasn't passionate about that industry like I am about providing quality care. So I went back to the Healthcare industry where I'm the happiest.
