After a massive Corporate downsizing, I have changed careers and turned to the Healthcare field. I have over 30 years experience taking care of family and clients, ranging from neonatal, special needs including quadriplegia, to hospice care. The last 20 years have also included dementia/stroke, oxygen, TPN, feeding tubes and post operative care. In addition, I have also been asked by 2 clients to become their personal assistant. This included travel to the grocery store, doctor appointments, downsizing homes, moving packing and unpacking, traveling across country and also property managed my clients home while it was on the market to sell. How can I be of help to you?

I enjoy visiting with and getting to know the clients. It gives me much satisfaction to know I am giving back to others.

I am a compassionate and caring person. I take pride in my work and always work to the best of my ability. I love to get to know people and treat them with respect and care. I enjoy helping others. It is very fulfilling and rewarding. I have many years of experience in various positions as a caregiver.

I'm a good listener, also very caring and treat every client as if they they are family . I love taking care of the elderly. I enjoy most about caregiving is knowing I'm helping people and showing that there are good people in this field . I am proud of myself for getting my own house and a new car after a long time of struggling

I have a passion for helping others and providing care to those in need. Being a caregiver allows me to use this passion to make a positive impact in people's lives. I have worked with elderly patients, providing assistance with daily activities, administering medication, and offering companionship. I am comfortable and experienced in assisting patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

I am cna certified and also am cpr certified. I have been working in the health field since 15 starting as a dietary aide then going on to laundry and housekeeping . Then was put through classes for cna I have been certified for 14 years as a aide and I absolutely love meeting new people helping others and connecting with people as friends not just a caregiver as well . I do not have a drivers license but that absolutely does not stop me from being responsible and dependable when I say I will be or am suppose to be somewhere I will be there most times even earlier then said . I am still able to always grab a few things needed from the grocery store or Walmart as I myself always am needing things. So please don't count me out on the fact that I don't have a license I am still a very dependable and loving caring person who can still do the tasks asked with out one. A little about my family I am a mother of two a daughter who is a senior this year and a son who is in 4th grade my son has autism and adhd so I am also experienced in that and I am also expecting one on the way due in February. I am a very upbeat and positive person. I feel I was put on this earth to help others whenever I can. I always go out of my way to be kind and assist others however I can. If someone needs to just vent, I will listen while giving them all my attention. I want them to feel they are my top priority, because they are. I have worked with people with mental illness and addiction issue, bipolar and then there are the medical issues....these people need love and someone to be there for them, to spend time with them...sometimes just to be "present" for them. Give them the integrity they deserve and if they are on their way out of this place, let them know they matter and can move on if that be the case.

I've worked with multiple people, that never failed to mention how much of a delight I am to have around. Not only do I make sure that someone feels okay, I don't mind cleaning up any messes. In my spare time if I'm not walking my dog I'm always at work. I don't mention on my resume but I also do help babysit my families children. I have great people skills and I love working in a healthy fun environment.

Being a caregiver to me means so much more than most! I truly feel that my purpose n life is to care for others to help others! That's what I love doing and I'm going at it I'm very out going always willing to listen and hear others thoughts and opinions! I will always help and care for any and everybody god says if you follow me I will gaureenteed you a spot in heaven :)

I believe that I am a great caregiver because I genuinely care and do my job with love and empathy , I am very patient and down to earth. What has helped me become a great caregiver is that I understand that these are real people that have lived lives that they are no longer in control of so that is where me being patient comes into play because I understand that it can be very confusing and frustrating to suddenly need help. What attracted to being a caregiver is that I honestly have so much respect for older people so I feel like caring for them would be a beautiful way to help them feel themselves and what I enjoy most is that I get to hear many different stories of their lives and seeing them happy , a personal achievement I have is graduating a year early from highschool
