What makes me a good caregiver / CNA because I have warm heart and a caring person and I like to see people happy and make them feel good about their self. I am proud of myself by helping this one family with their sister who is totally incapacitated. But I got her out to family gathering like to the park, zoo and so on. I love to see a smile on her face every day I work with her so when I move away it hurt me so bad but I still keep in touch with her and the family. Well I am looking for and evening shift like from 3pm to 9pm Monday through Friday due to I work in the morning. Compassion and love are at the foundation of good care. From a young age I was often placed in a caregiving role for my loved ones, be it a baby sister or an aging grandparent. Naturally as I got older I was drawn to this field and the fulfilling feeling that comes from helping others who have a need. I made it a point to educate myself and received my Home Health Aide certification in 2012. Since then I've worked with a wide variety of people and broad range of conditions. In addition a personal achievement I am proud of is becoming fluent in American Sign Language.
