I'm a licensed CNA . Before that I was a housewife for 22 years. I have the hugest heart and a lot of medical training to go with it! Just recently lost both of the exceptional 90 year old beautiful women I cared for for the last two years. One of them I was able to move in with and do round the clock care for the last three weeks of her life due to unfortunately her getting Covid. I had the privilege to be with her while she took her last breath since none of her 5 children could not be with her since she was Covid positive. I've had all my Covid Vaccinations and I'm ready to go back to work for either one or two amazing exceptional super seniors!! I find it extremely rewarding to be able to give love and care to people in need.

I am a very compassionate and caring person. I get along very well with people older than me. I currently work at an assisted living facility and am loved by all of the residents. I enjoy listening to stories of the past. I started out as a medical assistant at an Ob/Gyn office which I worked at for about 10 years until I started a family. I then took over the care of my grandmother when she suffered a stroke and was not able to walk because I did not want her in a facility. I was later employed by a company in Florida to be the care taker of my mother who suffered from COPD until she passed in 2016. My greatest joy is seeing a smile on someones face. The most rewarding thing about being a caregiver is bringing joy to someone for one more day.

Empathy: Great caregivers are able to cultivate closer bonds by sharing in the happiness or the sadness of the senior they care for. Patient: Caregivers understand that slowing down is a process of aging. A great caregiver allows the elderly to move at their own pace and not make them feel rushed. Dependable & Honest: Caregivers work with a great deal of independence. A great caregiver must be counted on to be where he or she is required to be on time and prepared as well as to perform required duties in the absence of continuous supervision Compassionate: Great caregivers possess a powerful desire to help others, especially seniors. They are inviting and available even if all they do is listen and provide companionship. Dedication: I am one hundred percent dedicated to my clients care. They are absolutely worth every minute that i take to provide care for them. I make sure my clients are happy with their care before ending our shift each day. Knowledgeable: I take my time to get to know exactly what my client needs. Are they on a special diet or medication? Do they need full, physical, hands on care, or are they able to complete some tasks on their own? I certainly wouldn't want to take away any independence they still have. Positive: Everyone knows that a persons mood is infectious. When i come to a clients home with a smile on our face and make it apparent that I am happy to help; this can only have a good effect on the people i serve. Flexibility: Flexibility is a critical quality in a caregiver, both with medical staff adjustments, and outside responsibilities. It is important that family and employers be aware of the responsibility a caregiver has assumed. It is also vital that a caregiver continue to make arrangements for last-minute changes that require additional or alternate care

Very tentative and empathetic. Self motivated and intelligent. Skilled in the areas of common sense. Also possess a number of other employable skills but mostly just want to assist folks to have independence and a better quality of life. We don't get many opportunities in this world to make life better for someone else. I am hopeful that this is a way I can consistently and respectfully give that gift to someone.

I love what I do! I became a CNA at 19yrs. old, I was young and wanted to help people. I wasn't exactly sure what my requirements were at that time and was very nervous and shy. Lol.. But I guess me starting out in that frame of mind and wanting to prove myself and (not screw up of course).. My heart mended with the opportunity to really make a difference! Not only care for the residents but to make an impression on someone's day. Talk to them, ACTUALLY wash and shower them. Enjoy and make jokes with accidents that happen, let them realize they are still wanted and loved by people and that they r never forgotten.

Hi there. My name is Andrea and I have been working as a private caregiver for over 10 years now. I started out caring for family members. I have since been working in this field of work caring for several families. I absolutely love what's I do. I have a soft heart for the older generation and love to be as helpful as I can be. I have worked with many different clients whom have all become my family. I can help with cleaning, cooking to checkecking vitals and personal care. I have many references as well as letters of recommendation. I understand the struggle of finding a good dependable caregiver. I am very dependable, work hard and go out of my way to make sure my client is well cared for. I would love a chance to help with your loved one.

I'm outgoing, I try to laugh as much as I can. My aunt had autism so growing up with her I liked to help out as much as I could. I enjoy being able to make other lives better everyday while being at work. I am personally proud of my accomplishments of working in the state hospital were I also received detailed training in behaviors.
