I am a mother of 3 little girls and love to spend my time taking care of everyone! I have been a caregiver for 4+ years and really love the whole experience. It's more than a job to me , it's a rewarding way to make someone else feel like they have a reason .

I am a CNA and CHHA with 15 years of experience. I am empathetic and have a passion for helping others improve their quality of life. I recently earned my Associate Degree in Health and Human Services and I'm working on my Bachelor program for Psychology with an emphasis on mental health.

I work for the agency for over 5 years now and before that I took care of my grandparents for decades until they passed away. They are the reason why I became a caregiver. I consider myself as very patient and have a great compassion for another because of my understanding of what the person is going through. My actual clients say I am attendant, dependable and trustworthy, beside my excellent time management and organizational skills. I enjoy being a caregiver because I like working with elderly people and like to help others in this way. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better - that can be extremely rewarding.

I am a very compassionate person. I enjoy helping others be as independent as they can. I am a quick learner. I am easy to get along with. At first I was scared to this type of work... My bonus daughters talked me into trying it out. I got my job at Futures Unlimited Inc but was very nervous at first. Didn't take me long to find that I really enjoyed it. Before I knew it, it was no longer a job but I seen it as a career I wanted to do and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I received an award from futures which I added to my indeed resume. I'm a new member of the Wichita community. My husband and I moved here from the Manhattan area where I worked as a para educator for 9 years. Needing a change, I worked toward my CNA,CMA, and HHA certifications. I have worked in Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Home Care and Hospice all of which I loved. I have an early work experience as an EMT,(no longer lisenced), and years in phlebotomy. I've also worked as a CNA in a surgical center in various areas of the building. I spent 1 1/2 years after we moved here, recovering from shoulder surgery and working in a preschool center while getting situated in our new to us house. We have two daughters, one is married with a 4 yr old and 8 month old and the other is a Jr in college at Bethel. I grew up a farm girl, spent valuable time with my grandparents, and have been involved in many activities myself and with our kids. My family has always come first and I have always worked jobs that would allow me to live and be in their moments as they were and are happening! We are total hands on grandparents to our grandchildren when needed and possible. I love flea markets, refurbishing furniture, I have my own picture painting site, yard sales, shopping, and being in our yard. My heart and soul are extremely down to earth and when I enter a clients home, they are what matters while I am there. Their comfort and happiness with my work, long after I leave, is important to me until I see them again.

I am a very passionate, dedicated, and committed to delivering selfless, purpose-driven service. I believe in servant leadership and making sound decisions in the absence of direction. I want family members to feel like I am an extension of their family, someone they can rely on when most necessary. I was attracted to caregiving by the reward that comes from helping others. Seeing people that were in need for care, when family members simply don't have time, money, or emotional longevity that is required in long-term assisted living and care. I am very proud of raising my two teenage daughters as a single mother, while working multiple jobs. It was very difficult, but highly rewarding seeing them grow, and exhibiting the same work ethic and love I try to possess.
