I have a great personality. I am very dependable, patient, pay attention to detail. Taking care of family members attracted me to wanting to be a caregiver. What i enjoy most about caregiving is i like taking care of others, especially the one's that can't do it on their own or need some assistance. One of my personal achievements that i am proud of is starting college.

I am a caring and loving caregiver. I have taken care of my own elderly family members for extended periods of time and have worked in-home health care. I have always found it rewarding and life-enriching to have the opportunity to assist people who need assistance in different areas. I love building relationships with people from all backgrounds. I have a servant's heart and I think that is why I love doing this so much, because I love serving people right in their own homes.

My personal traits that has help me become a great caregiver is that I'm a personable person. What attracted me was willingness to help the elderly. What I enjoy most is being able to interact with different residents/patients. My personal achievement that I am proud of is graduating as a Medical Assistant.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very responsible, dependable and work my best to make the one I am taking care of feel special and happy every day I care for them. What attracted me to becoming a Caregiver was that I was needing a job since I had just moved back to my hometown and filled out an application with Kelly Girls, an agency that hired people for different jobs. I was called to care for an 80 year + lady and enjoyed it. It was not what I went to College for, but continued to do both working in Administrative work and then part-time as a Caregiver. The thing that I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is the stories of those I care for. There is so much history that they have to share...even those from different parts of the Country and learning how different things were from then to now. My Mother was born in the Depression years and experienced the years of WWII, where 3 of her brothers were part of. It's the elderly who helped build the life around us and them being nurtured by their parents to give us a better tomorrow. I believe the most personal achievement I can say I am proud of is that I was taught good work ethics by my Mom, who was a farm girl. I started working at age 11 and have worked many different types of work and am a fast learner. I paid for my own College and worked at times 2 jobs to pay for my own apartment. In the Caregiving field, I have been taught some things that a Nurse is qualified for, but taught by the family of their loved one how to do certain tasks. I am very respectful of people and their property.

My background skills consist of ones that an Occupational therapy assistant can provide. I am honest & dependable. I have reliable transportation. I don't mind helping w light housekeeping & I will also provide help w the outside of a home if needed. I am skilled w medicine management, I'm great at organization, I am good w scheduling appointments as well as taking to & from. I don't mind animals if ever anyone has a pet. I have been in the caregiver field for over 15 years. This is a job that I take pride in and I really enjoy doing this type of work. It is a pleasure to be able to help someone who needs the extra help with daily activities such as grooming feeding walking etc. what makes me a great care giver is that I put my heart into it and I do it with care and love. I look at every patient as being family to me. When u have the love of God I'm your heart this type of work is a blessing because you get to spread The love of God.
