What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very responsible, dependable and work my best to make the one I am taking care of feel special and happy every day I care for them. What attracted me to becoming a Caregiver was that I was needing a job since I had just moved back to my hometown and filled out an application with Kelly Girls, an agency that hired people for different jobs. I was called to care for an 80 year + lady and enjoyed it. It was not what I went to College for, but continued to do both working in Administrative work and then part-time as a Caregiver. The thing that I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is the stories of those I care for. There is so much history that they have to share...even those from different parts of the Country and learning how different things were from then to now. My Mother was born in the Depression years and experienced the years of WWII, where 3 of her brothers were part of. It's the elderly who helped build the life around us and them being nurtured by their parents to give us a better tomorrow. I believe the most personal achievement I can say I am proud of is that I was taught good work ethics by my Mom, who was a farm girl. I started working at age 11 and have worked many different types of work and am a fast learner. I paid for my own College and worked at times 2 jobs to pay for my own apartment. In the Caregiving field, I have been taught some things that a Nurse is qualified for, but taught by the family of their loved one how to do certain tasks. I am very respectful of people and their property.

My passion is to help care for someone. I've been caregiver since 2001. I got into this due to takin care of my papaw. I love listen to stories and pictures of them.

Being a caregiver is more than a job. It is a passion. It is important to me that we give back and take care of the elder generation. I have always loved helping others and being a very outgoing and caring person, this has always been a great job for me. I have pride in the work I do. I enjoy the relationships I make and to know my clients are well taken care of. I treat my clients like they are my family!! I have tons of experience and I'm reliable and trustworthy!

I am honest, very dependable. I have a caring compassionate personality, and I like people. I also love animals. I have 12 years experience and I have excellent references. I am retired but still very active. Available for any shift. I have other clients with CareLinx that give me excellent reviews. I have cared for elderly men and women also for 2 gentleman who were mentally challenged. I have had numerous hours of training and am proficient in many aspects of care giving CPR and First Aid Certified Thank you.

My personality traits are, im dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy. What i enjoy most about being a caregiver, is meeting new residents and becoming close and having a bond, Along with taking care of them as needed. A personal achievement im proud of is having my own online business.
