I enjoy helping people

Some of my personal traits and being a caregiver is my love for the job. I have always love to help people regardless of the situation and there is a shortage on good people and honest people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was my great grandmother and my mom. When my great grandmother got very ill we took care of her until her last days that meant feeding bathing changing colostomy bag changing catheter And just being a companion. I also help my mom take care of a autistic girl for five years. The thing I love most about being a caregiver is the people you meet along the way and a wonderful stories you hear. When I look at my mother I know one day she may or may not be in a situation to need me so I want plenty of practice along the way. One of my biggest achievement was graduating from the phlebotomy school last year. My other biggest achievement is continuing to take care of my special needs son and my other job while balancing out life and everything around me

I have been in the caregiver field for over 15 years. This is a job that I take pride in and I really enjoy doing this type of work. It is a pleasure to be able to help someone who needs the extra help with daily activities such as grooming feeding walking etc. what makes me a great care giver is that I put my heart into it and I do it with care and love.
