Then I ask him do he need any assist.help him out of bed help with getting dress wash face give bath oral hygiene prepare breakfast prepare lunch prepare dinner.and make sur dish are wash and put away and wash clothes and take out the trash and make show the home is clean before I leave and tell him have a good day.

I believe in keeping God first in everything i do in order to fulfill my job duties. 2.Seeing others in need attracted me to being a caregiver , I love people and I love helping people it's one of my biggest priorities. 3.I enjoy putting a smile on my clients face that's what makes me happy. 4. I was attracted to caregiving whenever my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and began to require home health services to keep her independence. This lead me to work for about 2 years as a CNA and take CNA classes within one of the facilities I worked at. I built connections and trust with my residents by treating them with compassion, patience, and by taking time to care for them fully. I took pride in the fact that all my residents smiled at me when I walked through their door because they knew I would take good care of them. I enjoy spending time with the people I care for. I ask them questions about their life and listen to their stories as I do my tasks. This helps to break the ice and help me get to know them as a person. I have also worked with many residents with a variety of different health issues such as dementia, bed bound patients, hospice patients, and patients with various mental illnesses . I have learned how to adapt my care strategies to each individual I work with to optimize the quality care I can provide. I take special care ensure my residents feel comfortable, secure, and in control of their situations.

I care for anyone at any place in life whether your need is for an accident victim, surgery recovery, or best of all elderly care. People have told me that i am very patient and a good listener. I enjoyed hearing that and i take much pride in being those and other gifts that God gives. What attracted me into being a caregiver is my mother in 2006. She has been a caregiver for 41 years now. There was a facility that she was working in that caregivers work. There was a family lacking a sitter for one lady and they were looking for someone last minute to fill in a shift. My mom called and asked if I could do it and I did not see why not. Even though the overnight shift was a nightmare and even hurt me physically, I decided if I could do go through that then I could go through anyting. :-) What i enjoy most is the learning. For many clients I feel like I should have been the one paying them for what I learn from them. Of course it's not always this way. I would pray so however. I do enjoy learning people and new situations. Every client and their loved ones are different and i don't mind making long term friends. Personal achievements that I have made during the career of home health aide caregiving is caring for different health situations in many different walks of life. My services include bringing you or your loved one to appointments, errands, etc. My services include light to moderate cleaning, cooking, and shopping whether the need is part time or full time, short term or long term.

I am a caregiver for my elderly grandmother she has dementia. everyday is a new experience with her.
