I am a very out going and compassionate person that loves working with seniors. I love dancing and hitting the gym in my spare time as well.

I enjoy working with and taking care of people. I am currently in nursing school and I have always wanted to be a nurse so I can take care of individuals who not be able to care for themselves. I think if I can make a small difference in one person's life then I have done my job. What I most enjoy about being a caregiver is the connections I make with my clients and their families; those connections are everlasting.

Hello my name is cinthya i've been a CNA for 4 years now, i have done home care, nursing home, hospice, assisted living and i currently work at memory care facility and its the area i have worked the most and feel more comfortable with with dementia patients, I absolutely love what i do and do it with pride nothing makes me happier to leave a client's house knowing they're all taking care of and made their day better, helping people that can't help themselves is what makes my job worth it, i love spending time and get to know about my patients do what they enjoy to do sometimes it can get hard but we have to always remind ourselves our why and take a deep breath always works

I never know what to write when it comes to this part. Most people say I'm happy go lucky, I have a quirky sense of humour. I guess I would have to my step mom introduced me to the field, She was a nurse in a long term care facility, they were short handed and needed help. Needless to say I was very young and didn't last long. As I got older and became a single parent I needed work and it just seemed like the natural thing to do, to become a caregiver to others outside of my children. I believe my greatest joy in doing this job is helping others and making a difference in their lives, even if it's just making a snack or a meal, or shaving a face or combing hair. Sometimes is the smallest thing that make the biggest difference for someone. I would have to saY my personal achievement I'm most proud of is raising my children alone to adulthood, to be respectful, productive adults. Now helping to raise my youngest grandson.

Some of my personality traits as a caregiver are empathize, to be patient and flexible, putting the needs of my patient first and to be able to take charge when necessary. Caring for my love ones(grandparents) attracted me to being a caregiver. I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one on one interaction with others. A personal achievement I am proud of is when I receive many appreciation letters from clients and their families for a good services.
