I then moved on to working with individuals one on one (in-home) with 2 different companies, and also worked full-time in a facility with 4 intellectually disabled individuals. My grandparents are a big motivation for this career path, I want to give back and spread compassion. The best thing about being a caregiver is meeting new people and getting to know them. I am a mother of 2, I also take care other other children. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for a career, in was introduced to health care in 2012, worked as private duty in a home in Madison, dementia client. Helped her with her daily needs, transporting tolileting and household work.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm very kind and loving and a very hard worker. What attracted me about being a caregiver is that I have seen my family in the past struggle with some of the things being a caregiver I have always told my myself that no matter what I would push myself into being a caregiver so I know in time what to do or what I can do to help my family. A personal achievement that I'm proud is that I'm trying to go to school to be an rn!
