He had an accident and was tetraplegic. He couldn't do the simplest task he used to do like brushing his teeth or grooming his beard or even eat. It was really difficult for him in the beginning and we had to step in and help him adjust through the new phase of his life. Through adequate care, listening to him and making sure he felt loved, valued and worthy despite his situation, we created an environment in which he could still feel he mattered. And for that I'm proud. And these are the same values that I apply when I work.

I am a very organized and time oriented person. I care about my work and love what I do. It always been in my heart to help people especially the elderly. I want to work as a caregiver for the elderly because I feel since they raised us and took care of us, we need to repay the favor when they are no longer able to do for themselves.
