I have been a CAREGiver for 17 years. I am an easy going, happy, hard working person who loves to make a difference in the lives of others. I enjoy being to make a difference in someone's life everytime I work. I am most proud of being a Father of 6 wonderful children and a Grandfather to my 2 beautiful Granddaughters!

I'm a grandmother of 6, im a kid love life . I've been a people person enjoy learning about their life how time was in there area . I love seeing there smile when I go to there door. It warms my heart. I'm a church lady ,I'm envowled with church functions. My mother has Alzheimer's it's my way of helping I treat my clients with respect. Like I would treat my mom. I am currently a Hairstylist, which has always been my dream, but i do miss taking care of patients, i have always been a nurture. I am very laid back, go with the flow, very patient person. I love making people smile and brightening their day.

What makes me a great caregiver I think caring, patience, listening. Why I became a caregiver, I worked at a nursing home as an NA the resident would ask for help, I would tell him I could not help . Nope I never liked my answer so I signed up for CNA class and became a CNA. What I like about being a caregiver? Helping when they ask for help I can help them. My Personal Achievement I'm proud of . My kids I was a single mom of 4 send them to school then to college .

I enjoy caring for people of all ages. I also have a special needs daughter at home so im definitely experienced been doing this type of work for 10+ years.

I am honest, loving, compassionate, caring, shy but energetic, encouraging, hard working, reliable. I love being in nursing because of the people i get to meet and how i am able to help make a differance in there lives. I love being able to make life enjoyable, and brightening up there day. I happily enjoy helping make there day a little more easier for them and to see them. Seeing there smiles and the glow when u come in to help them makes my heart melt. I am an excellent companion because i am a wonderful listner and im interested in all memories of the past and when they tell u about there life and how they got to were they r now is something i cherish. Iv worked in 2 nursing homes and a behavior healthcare unit, all of my jobs are within the experience of short/ long term/ independent living, dementia,Alztimers, behaviors. I have been in nursing for 7 years and currently work for Cascade healthcare agency and care for my aunt that lives in my home.
