Nursing is the only job I have ever had. Caregiving is my calling . I have worked in several different nursing arenas but hands on caregiving is my passion. Agency work has afforded me the opportunity to work with patients from the cradle to hospice and for that experience I am grateful. My patients become my family. I am dedicated committed adaptable and well organized i am sincere and poise what got me in to being a caregiver was a close friend of my family had a stroke and was paralyzed on her left side and i took care of her for years what i enjoy most about being a caregiver is just being able to help and see the smiles on there faces to laugh and talk with them i love the elderly population I developed a love for care giving in 2012 when my Godmother suffered an ischemic stroke. I began caring for her and I did so for 4 years until her passing. What I love most about being a caregiver is being able to help someone and see them smile everyday. As a student nurse I have learned how to take care of my patients in a caring and dignified manner. I really enjoy helping and taking care of people who are in need and can't do for themselves. I believe I am a great personal care assistant because I am a natural loving and nurturing person and I choose to give the type of care that I would want for myself and for my own mom or dad.
